Psychognosis Posts: 2,171 Group: Member Member #287 Joined: October 6, 2009 Gender male Sexual Orientation straight	My dad goes in for a CT scan of his bladder. He has a nasty infection. The radiologist takes one look at the scan and freaks out. My dad has an Aortic Aneurysm. Basically, the aorta is the largest artery in the body. It goes from the left ventricle of the heart to the abdomen. Pert of dad's is enlarged. If he doesn't have surgery for it, the aorta can burst and kill him. A sudden increase in blood pressure would do it. I lost my mom a few years ago. I don't want to lose him too. He is the only relative I have that I care about. He goes to the Veteran's Administration clinic. They have the latest equipment and drug therapies. I also let work know I will be taking time off soon. Work is not my priority.
